Durham University Swing Society (DUSS) is pleased to introduce: our October Swing Ball!
Date: Sat 18 Oct. Venue: Elvet Methodist Church Hall, Durham.
Schedule: •7-8pm Beginner level Lindy Hop class •8pm-midnight Social dancing! •9pm live band set from the Magpies of Swing!
All levels warmly welcomed. Beginners, come and discover the swing dance scene! Advanced dancers, come and show off your skills!
DUSS, NUSS, Swing Tyne, and any/all swing dancers welcomed. Please buy tickets here in advance, so we know numbers.
No alcohol is permitted on the premises. Snacks will be provided, but please also bring some food or soft drinks to contribute to the sharing table, if you can. Please bring your own cup/mug as the venue has a policy to avoid single-use plastics. A water bottle is also a good idea.
There is no dress code for this event - wear whatever you are comfortable dancing in. We recommend you wear comfy shoes that allow you to jump and spin around. Dress up if you feel like it!
